So of course you could have probably figured out that Kanye’s album cover for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy would be insane or cause some controversy. You also could have figured out that it might ignite some serious questions. Well, with the news of the album cover being banned those questions have become more and more relevant. La Roux’s “In For The Kill” has swept an eager nation of new age music lovers by storm. Since the progressive success of the pop/alternative/electro-funk group tons of musicians have taken to the song and remixed the hell out of it. With the release (supposedly) of Mr. West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy slated for November 22nd, we felt it was only right to take a slight trip down the College Dropout lane before adhering to what’s ahead. Ye did remarkable work when he debuted his first album. Every track was a seed of growth in hip-hop, college lifestyles, and fashion. He was the beginning. Now, through many trials and tribulations, he’s gotten his act together and is working on what has been said to be his greatest album yet. The latest news surrounding the release pertains to the folks on board. The list has grown, now including M.I.A., Santigold, of course CuDi, Alicia Keys, La Roux and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. We shall see.

In the wee hours of the morning at Binghamton University it became an all out musical, wake up call when Young Money’s leading new schoolers Drake and Tyga infiltrated the campus. The two stars were swarmed by a fleeting crowd of fans during a stop from their “Light Dreams and Nightmares” Tour. The concert turned into a high octane environment when students began to get trampled, something that didn’t seem to prevent fans from showering the two with their praises. Throughout the concert, Drizzy professed his love for his newfound “favorite school” while performing hits off of his Thank Me Later album. Famed photographer Tommy Mims blessed EZO with some love during the show. Enjoy.
